One weekend in Vancouver

Some of the pictures taken in Vancouver Canana during our trip las August 31 - September 3, 2007.
Vancouver is one of the very relaxing place I have visited. The sorrounding is very clean and you can see different kinds of trees and flowers are everywhere. The weather in summer is about right, it's not too hot nor too cold. We experienced overcast but the weather didn't stop us to go out and explore the place and enjoy every single minute everywhere. They have variety of restaurant that you can choose for. Gelato is almost every corner, this Italian ice cream is very delicious. We tried Malaysian restaurant and their food was excellent that made me think to learn how to cook them myself.
This picture was taken on the very first day we arrived in Vancouver, we went to Queen Elizabeth Park and had our lunch at Seasons Restaurant where you can see a panoramic view of the city.

After Salmon fishing we decided to grab some lunch. We like the Boat House Restaurant because it's by the bay and had a beautiful and relaxing view. Food is very good and service wasn't that bad either.

How I wish I know how to drive a boat. I should get boat driving lesson.

Gone Salmon Fishing (Driver Kuno?)

We got lucky to catch this 15 pound salmon is what I said to our boat driver/owner. He replied, it's not luck it's skills. Hmmm..... I'm not sure if it's really skills or maybe it's just luck. Oh well... what matters most is that we caught at least 1 salmon.
