House Just Sold!!!

After we upgraded the kitchen from laminate to venetian gold granite counter top, carpet to wood floor in dining, hall way and kitchen area as well as new wall paint around the house our house is finally ready to be put in the market.

The house is 2-year old, excellent shape, fronting a big park, walking distance to open spaces and rec-center, has decent view pf Colorado mountains. We thought this house was a bargain for those people who are starting a new family or people with more than 2 children. It has 4 Bed, 2.5 bath, den, dining, nook, and family room, tiled master bath with double sink, oval tub and walk-in closet. Laundry with sink is upstairs, carpeted basement, and is pre-wired.

We listed our house in Broomfield, CO around the 3rd week of May 2008 hoping we get an offer soon. After a week we had someone offered a very low price and we turned down their offer because our asking price for the house is not over the market range in the neighborhood. Early June we had another offer, they were only asking $5K back for closing costs. So, we counter offer somewhere in between that we think a reasonable price for both party. Part of it too was we upgraded the house and made it look like more luxurious for a decent amount of money.

They did accept our counter offer, we were very happy that we found a buyer for our house. We only have to wait 'til today for them to close and make the sale final.
Because we now live in San Diego we have to sign all our paperworks electronically which is very convenient for us and for our Realtor we also save time. Last week friday June 27 we received all our closing documents through FedEx. Hubby and I met up with the Notary public for us to sign the closing contract and had her stamped some of the pages that required notary stamp and signature. After all our work was done we mailed back our documents to Land Title Company.

I called our Realtor today, good new for us, we are officially not the owner of our house!!! Our buyer finally finished signing all the closing documents at 4pm MST. We are very happy that we finally sold our house!!! God's blessings to sell our house in a short period of time. Thank God.
